        四川大学校党委常委、副校长、经济学教授，研究领域：当代南亚经济。中国高等教育学会引进国外智力工作分会副会长。1978年3月考入四川大学经济系，1982年1月毕业，获经济学学士学位；1986年12月-1987年12月在美国加州大学伯克利分校南亚与东南亚研究中心作访问学者。1989年12月-1991年12月在印度尼赫鲁大学经济与计划研究中心作访问学者。著有《西南大陆桥建设与区域经济发展》《中国西南对印度贸易问题研究》。已发表论文30多篇2005年《国际合作培养创新人才的研究与实践》获国家教学成果二等奖。

Prof. Yan Shijing

Vice president of Sichuan University, Member of standing committee of SCU, Vice chairman of Society for International Human Resources Development of China Association of Higher Education, and professor in economics. Mr. Yan was admitted into the Department of Economics of Sichuan University in March 1978 and graduated with bachelor’s degree in economics in January 1982. From December 1986 to December 1987 he had been a visiting scholar in the Center for South and Southeast Asia Studies, University of California, Berkeley, USA. From December 1989 to December 1991 he had been a visiting scholar in the Center for Economic and Planning Studies, Nehru University of India. He has published two books entitled The Development of the Regional Economy and the Construction of the Continental Bridge in Southwest China,andOn the Problems of Southeast China’s Trading with India, respectively. He has published more than 30 theses, in which theResearch and Practice on the Cultivation of Innovative Talents in International Cooperation(2005) won the Second National Prize of Teaching Achievements Award.
